Melissa joined SCS Financial Services in 2007. As Chief Talent Officer at SCS Financial, Melissa is responsible for developing and executing SCS’s talent management strategy. As part of her role, Melissa designs and oversees the firm’s talent management processes for recruiting, onboarding, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. Prior to her current role, she held several roles across SCS, including Managing Director of People & Culture, Head of Project Management, Investments COO, Fixed Income Trader, and Operations Analyst for hedge funds and client operations. Her background at SCS enabled her to develop a deep institutional knowledge and familiarity with SCS’s people and culture that informs and guides her approach to talent management. Melissa started her career at Gannett, Welsh & Kotler and State Street in client service and operational roles. Melissa earned a BS in Finance from Villanova University.
